The Jungle Book

The Jungle Book was NRP's inaugural production.  The show featured a vibrant set and fantastic animal costumes.  

Macbeth June 2011

Directed by Tony Manica



This production juxtaposed the language of Shakespeare with the look and feel of a modern corporate structure.  The logo purposefully parodied the Enron logo.   

The 24 Hour Theater

September 2011

24 Hour Theater was an ambitious undertaking to say the least.  Writers, directors and actors met for the 1st time at 7:00 PM the evening before the performance.  The spent a half hour getting randomly assigned to groups and at 7:30 began the process of writing and producing an original one act play from inception to performance in 24 hours

It's a wonderful life (radio show) December 2011

This presentation of It's a Wonderful life was set on the sound stage of a 1940's radio station.  The actors were dressed for the era and the mix of traditional and modern sound effects completed the show.  

Treasure Island

February 2012

Directed by Jillian Morgan

Treasure Island kicked off NRP's 2nd season and became the second annual family friendly production for NRP.  With vibrant sets and a theater full of pirates the cast thrilled audiences young and old.​

The Norman Conquests (trilogy)

June 2012

Directed by Michael Glazier

The Norman Conquests cast had a tremendous challenge on their hands with this production.  The cast of 6 performed all 3 plays each weekend on a rotating schedule over 3 weeks.  Each performance required nightly set changes and the rotating schedule meant the order of the plays changed with each weekend.  It was a daunting and ambitious task that we fondly remember 

A Streetcar Named Desire

November 2012.

Directed by Michael Glazier

A Streetcar named desire was NRP's first foray into the American classics.  Due to delays in securing rights the cast and crew were under a tight schedule, the cast was announced 7 weeks before opening night.  With the theater unavailable for rehearsals the cast rehearsed all but 2 out of the 7 weeks in a vacant hotel room at the French King Inn and various living rooms of the production crew.

A Christmas Carol Radio Show

December 2012

Following in the tradition of the previous year's holiday radio show.  A Christmas Carol was staged in the 40's golden era of radio tradition and brought to life the Dickens classic.

Alice In Wonderland

February 2013

Directed by Jillian Morgan



Alice in Wonderland marked the beginning of NRP's third season, and was the 3rd annual family friendly show.  The production featured the original music of Daniel Hales & the frost heaves, vibrant costumes and an air of cartoonish fantasy.  

A Midsummer Night's Dream

May 2013

Directed by Anthony Manica

Unlike 2011's Macbeth this Shakespearean comedy was staged in a more traditional fashion, with period costumes and a living forest on stage.​
