New Renaissance Players was founded in November 2010 by Kimberley Morin, Michael Glazier, Anthony Manica and Jillian Morgan. With a $1500 initial grant from local theater group Welcome Yule which the company itself replenishes, NRP staged their first production (Jungle Book) in February 2011. Now in their third season NRP has developed a reputation for ambitious and high quality productions.



Our Mission

The mission of NRP is to act as a fundraising arm for the Shea theater in Turners Falls.  100% of all profits of NRP productions goes to the Shea for investments in the theater.  



Our Philosophy

The NRP philosophy is centered in the belief that theater should be a fun and creative release for its participates as well as a warm and welcoming place that inspires creativity and fosters fellowship.  We treat each production as an opportunity to challenge ourselves and a chance to learn and grow as artists.
